Our Journey
It started in the mid '90s when the owners of a $1B medical products company wanted to prevent employees from viewing the product cost of items they sold. Intercepting the data before it hit employees screens was the solution.
As real-time collaboration began to take-off with Google Docs and Office 365, the ability to limit what data within a document could be locked from editing or blacked out (redacted) from viewing didn't exist.

The ability to finalize a document, making it read-only while creating a unique fingerprint and allowing others to digitally concur as a way of signing, also did not exist.

While the name Kallisco was established in 2000, the focus on document collaboration began in 2023 with the release of the collaboration platform in 2024.

Our core fundamental principle is that of privacy. While other organziations mine your data for machine learning, AI, marketing, and some form of monetization, we do not. Our technical solution to collaboration prevents us from doing this, even if we wanted to. This is who we are and how we operate.
